CookCook - wood
Wood is fascinating and valuable
Wood has accompanied people for thousands of years, wood is fascinating as a building material, as a diverse raw material and as fuel for cooking and heating. Certainly we fondly remember the crackling bonfire of our youth. Wood is stored sun energy. It grows back and gives this energy back to us. In this way the CO2 levels remain balanced, no matter whether the wood rots in the woods or is burnt and used as a fuel. It was always and still is a challenge for us, to use this energy cleanly, safely, ecologically and sparingly: with efficient devices and procedures on the one hand and through information and training on the other hand.
Our aim and our responsibility: to create heat, comfort and joie de vivre using the natural fuel - wood.
“We know how to make fire!“, and continually strive to expand this knowledge and use it for new developments, even in combination with other regrowing or inexhaustible alternative energy. In this way we are helping to lower the need for fossil fuels. These fuels which were made over millions of years must be used sparingly and for essential and sustainable uses.
Wood fires appeal to many of the human senses, but wood as a fuel has a much larger ecological and political significance.
"We have only borrowed the earth", therefore we ensure in our company that the products we develop can only be operated using renewable energy sources, which means that we use a lot of wood, like with the CookCook.
For us ecological behaviour means keeping the balance between nature and people, which is why we lobby for regrowing and inexhaustible, renewable energy sources with all our strength.

Trading ecologically means for us keeping the balance between nature and man, and that is why we support re-growing, inexhaustible, renewable energy sources as much as we can.
