When correctly installed and clad by a specialist, this mostly guarantees the quality of your system in operation. In order that we can provide you with a service quickly and reliably in case of a defect, we request that you fill in this guarantee card immediately and send it back to us.Without these details we are not in a position to carry out professional services. Scope of guarantee and liability

The requirements for the named guaranteed periods are installation through a proven partner company in accordance with the regulations and the installation instructions of Rüegg Cheminée AG and the locally valid specialist rules for handicraft. Furthermore Rüegg Cheminée AG requires correct operation according to the operating instructions.

The guarantee comprises the ensured features and services of the purchased object and its lack of defects. Defects occurring while under guarantee will be taken on by Rüegg free of charge.

As far as repairs are possible, the right to change is waived. Any other claims of the orderer regarding consequential damages, are excluded.


Please be aware:

The guarantee period commences on the day of billing to the partner of Rüegg Cheminée AG.

The guarantee certificate must be kept in a safe place and must be provided in case of complaints.


The following are excluded from the guarantee and we do not accept liability for them:

  • Small variations of the goods in dimensions, colour or design from illustrations or details in our prospectuses, catalogues and acceptance of orders
  • Defective functions or other complaints about a system installed by the recipient, which can be attributed to insufficient building preparations, in particular falsely routed or too little fresh air circulation, or missing electrical connections etc.
  • Damages occurring through subsequent changes to our devices or accessories.
  • Incorrectly treated or damaged devices or accessories, or those that have not been installed according to the istructions.
  • Damages such as flecks, rips and material wear which occurred due to incorrect firing of the equipment, violent use or improper maintenance.
  • Glass breakage and subsequent damages.

Die Rüegg Cheminée AG, 8126 Zumikon (Switzerland) provides a warranty for all its heating elements with a basic warranty period of 5 years.

The warranty periods for the heating elements are shown in detail below:

5 years On the body without mechanical components
2 years On the mechanical components of the plate puller, and/or of the hinged doors
  On all components in cast iron, e.g. the cast grates
1 year On the fireplace cladding in fireclay, cast iron or steel plate, and the baffle plates as fireplace seal
  On all electrical and electronic parts such as ventilators, control units, etc.
  On all seals on the heating element
