70 Years of Rüegg: An Anniversary Full of Encounters

On November 27 and 28, 2025, we had the pleasure of celebrating our 70th anniversary in Rapperswil – two days filled with a special energy and numerous personal encounters. Together with our partners from various countries, we experienced an event that moved us with its open and inspiring atmosphere. The many conversations, valuable exchanges, and the palpable sense of connection made this anniversary far more than a company celebration: it became an emotional starting point for a new shared journey.

We were especially delighted to honour several 10- and 15-year anniversaries of our partners during the event. These long-standing partnerships are a valuable part of our history and a strong sign of mutual trust.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our customers, who helped shape these days and made this event possible in the first place. The impressions and inspirations continue to accompany us and strengthen our commitment to developing innovative fire culture with a strong sense of design, technology and future orientation.

Aera – where architecture meets warmth.

Amid the celebrations, we also had the opportunity to present a new series of fireplace stoves: Aera. Our Head of Technology, Joel Kündig, unveiled the Aera urban one, which combines modern design language with contemporary combustion technology. The Aera urban one impresses with its clean lines and urban elegance. Thanks to its modular construction, assembly is effortless – precise, efficient, straightforward. The tinted Schott Nightflame glass gives the fire depth and character. A beautifully crafted product, officially available from the end of January 2026.

Thus, our anniversary became not only a look back at seven decades of innovation, but also a moment of new momentum – carried by strong relationships, shared visions and products that will shape our path into the future.
